Nicole has extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health. She is able to offer a personable service tailored to the needs of each child, which can include creative forms of therapy including play or art. Nicole’s experience and training in trauma, attachment and child protection, enables her to work with clients on establishing more secure relationships between a child and their parent/caregivers plus heal trauma and attachment wounds.
Her keen interest in multiculturalism along with her experience working in cross cultural settings have equipped her to be a culturally competent counsellor who is interested in the personal stories and experiences of her clients in light of their cultural background.
When working with couples Nicole draws from various resources such as the Prepare-Enrich assessment tool. Her training and experience is relevant for couples at any stage in their relationship: dating, engaged, common-law or married. Nicole enjoys the process of walking with couple’s as they identify their relationship strengths and address their areas of growth.

Nicole is originally from Toronto, Ontario. She is a devoted wife, mother and friend, who values and prioritizes relationships as central in her life. She has an M.A. in Counselling and Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology. Nicole is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counsellors. She is a runner, reader and avid learner.
